Annual Awards 2026 finalists announced 

A total of 121 nominations were put forward by members of volleyball’s communities around the country, across 12 categories.   

Those nominations were submitted to a seven-strong independent judging panel, who have collectively selected the strongest nominees in each category.

Each of those shortlisted have been invited to the Annual Awards presentation ceremony, which will take place on Saturday 25th April at Loughborough University as part of Cup Finals Weekend 2026.   

“It has been amazing to see so many nominations where members of the volleyball community put so much time, effort and passion into what they do for the sport. I’m really excited for the Annual Awards, where we get to celebrate all the volunteers who truly deserve it,” said Volleyball England’s Róisín Griffin, who is leading on the organisation of the awards. 

The judging panel has had a tough job this year, with so many incredible volunteers across our community who are worthy of recognition. 

A huge thank you to all the nominators for taking the time to submit such thoughtful, in‑depth responses, they really helped the judges capture the full picture of each nominee’s impact.” 

The Annual Awards Ceremony will be livestreamed on the Volleyball England YouTube Channel for anyone who is unable to attend.
